Nankhumwa speaks of fuel prices that have gone up, cooking oil prices, washing soap, sugar and other prices of goods that have gone up.
Nankhumwa has given Chakwera 14 days to go to Blantyre to negotiate with Cooking oil manufacturers so that they should reduce the prices, he has also told Chakwera to stop inspecting fields and go to candlex limited and Illovo sugar to negotiate price reduction.
He has dared Chakwera to stop inspecting sugarcane fields, maize and sunflower fields and be in the office to make decisions about challenges rocking the country.

Nankhumwa has also spoken about those in DPP that are telling Mutharika lies and speculating that he is forming his party, he says those doing that feel threatened by him as he is a block to their dream of becoming president.
Nankhumwa has also trashed talks that he is planning to take DPP into UTM or MCP, he says he has no plans of joining UTM which has only 4 MPs in parliament.
He adds that, he is DPP and does not think of joining any other party. According to Nankhumwa he is going to contest for presidency at the convention and he is going to win with 95%.
Nankhumwa says he has started his campaign, as in two weeks time he will be in the North, then Njamba in Blantyre.
