President Dr Lazarus Chakwera and the First Lady, Madame Monica Chakwera, called on John Zenus Ungapake Tembo, Former President of Malawi Congress Party and Former Leader of Opposition, at his home in Lilongwe to wish him well as he approaches his 90th birthday this coming week.
The President was delighted to find Tembo in good spirits.

The Malawi leader has in the past two years visited and cheered up former public figures who served in government including Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika and Dr Bakili Muluzi.
