Chisenjere Magistrate Court in Blantyre has adjourned to 2 November 2022 as the day it will deliver its sentence on Luka Fuleya who is being accused of logging in a protected area and taking protected species therein.
The magistrate court sitting at Wildlife and Environmental Society of Malawi (WESM), Michiru Sanctuary, heard that Fuleya was caught red-handed by the forest authorities committing the offence. Fuleya pleaded guilty to the charges.
