The Human Rights Consultative Committee (HRCC) has written the Public Appointments Committee of Parliament to review matters surrounding the audio clip which Anti Corruption Bureau Director General Martha Chizuma was discussing with another person issues about the bureau’s work among others.
Speaking to journalists in Lilongwe in the afternoon after submitting the letter to Committee chairperson Joyce Chitsulo, HRCC board chairperson Robert Mkwezalamba said the leaked audio issue need to be resolved to its logical conclusion.

He further argued that failure to do so may affect the Bureau’s work in effectively dealing with corruption and that the public has many questions that are yet to be answered about the audio clip matter.
The PAC chairperson has confirmed receipt of the letter from HRCC.
