Police in Kasungu have arrested a minibus driver and his conductor for allegedly being found in possession of three bags of Indian hemp without licence.
Kasungu police spokesperson Joseph Kachikho has identified the two as Thomas Bisayi 33 and Anorld Mpinganjira 23.
The two were arrested yesterday at Bwanali village along M1 road, where a team of Criminal Investigation Department police officers mount a road block working on a tip.
According to Police, Bisayi was driving a vehicle registration number MH 10366 with passengers and Mpinganjira was a conductor.

The two claimed unknown person sent them the bags as a parcel with phone numbers of the sender and receiver.
Bisayi comes from Gamba village and Mpinganjira is from Malomo village both Traditional Authority Chilowoko in Ntchisi District.
