Unicaf University says the institution is geared to support the recovery of some of its students and other citizens in the aftermath of Cyclone Freddy.

Vice Chancellor Robert Ridley says the university will continue to help the affected people by providing emergency relief and livelihood support.

He was speaking at Malawi Red Cross Society headquarters in Lilongwe when he presented
K2 million worth of items to survivors of Cyclone Freddy.

“The university wants to ensure that the affected people should afford to rebuild their lives and communities,” said Ridley.
