NGO’s must get permits for borehole drilling projects-NRWA
National Water Resources Authority NRWA has called on non-governmental organisations to get permits before introducing borehole drilling projects
NRWA acting manager Peter Banda said this during a meeting with executive committee of Mangochi Municipal Council
Banda said the council must only engage borehole drillers and contractors that have been registered with NRWA

One of the members of Mangochi municipal council executive committee Enford Kanyimbo said drilling companies need to follow all necessary procedures before engaging in borehole business
Kanyimbo the director of culture environment and natural resources for Mangochi assured NRWA that the information will be spread to communities for them to be aware of the regulations
