Dowa South East Costituency legislator Honorable Halima Daud-MP has advised girls in her area to embrace obstacles, persevere through the tough times, and always stay focused on their goals.

Honorable Daud who is also the deputy minister of health made the remarks today during the graduation ceremony of form 4 students at Atiel girls academy in Dowa.

In her speech, she said completing Malawi School Certificate of Education in Malawi, for a girl child, is a significant accomplishment, but it is only the starting point of their journey.
She further commended the institution for taking part in promoting girl child education.
