Minister of Homeland Security Ken Zikhale Ng’oma has once again condemned traffic police officers for confiscating driving licences during traffic checks and ordered a stop to the practice stressing that police should find other alternatives to enforce compliance to traffic regulations.
He said this a while ago in an interfere meeting with South West Region Police officers currently underway in Blantyre.
The Minister made similar sentiments while addressing heads of police, Immigration, Prison and refugees department at the National Police Headquarters in Area 30, Lilongwe after his appointment in February this year. He said confiscating driving licences from motorists is against the law
