Ben Phiri, a senior official of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), has expressed deep concern regarding the government’s failure to respond to public calls for a thorough investigation into the plane crash that resulted in the death of Vice President Saulos Chilima and thirty-three others. The DPP leader pointed out that a detailed investigation is essential not only to uncover the truth but also to provide closure to the families affected by the tragedy. “An independent and thorough inquiry is crucial for ensuring accountability.
