By Burnett Munthali

Mighty Mukuru Wanderers have officially begun advance ticket sales for the highly anticipated TNM Super League Blantyre derby against their fierce rivals, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets. The match, which is set to take place at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre on Saturday, has sparked excitement among football fans across the city.

Wanderers’ Brands and Marketing Manager, Greyson Chapita, announced that the club is establishing multiple ticket selling points across various townships in Blantyre to make it easier for fans to access tickets ahead of the big game. “As the home team, we are taking the lead in spearheading ticket sales. We want to be close to the fans and ensure that everyone who is interested has a chance to buy tickets. This is a highly anticipated match, and we encourage supporters to purchase their tickets in advance to avoid last-minute inconveniences,” Chapita said.

Chapita also noted that Wanderers are working closely with all relevant stakeholders, including FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, to ensure smooth ticket distribution and sales. This collaboration aims to make the process as seamless as possible for fans from both teams.

As the derby draws near, football enthusiasts are urged to secure their spots early for what promises to be a thrilling encounter between two of Malawi’s biggest football clubs. With ticket sales already underway, the atmosphere is set to heat up even more ahead of the weekend showdown.
