Raiply Malawi Limited Celebrates 14 Years Sponsoring Volleyball

Raiply Malawi Limited has marked 14 years of sponsoring the National Volleyball Championship in Malawi and in celebrating the milestone, the company has doubled the sponsorship from last year’s K10 million to K25 million.

The celebration takes centre stage this Friday with a parade by volleyball teams and Raiply employees in the street of Mzuzu en route to Katoto Secondary School Sports Complex where the official kick off of this year’s tournament will take place. The tournament will run up to Sunday.

Speaking at a press briefing held in Mzuzu, Raiply Malawi Administration and Human Resource Manager, Jackson Chapuma said reaching this far with the sponsorship, they are impressed with the management and impact it is bringing towards developing talent which is good for the sport in the country.

Volleyball Association of Malawi president James Kaunda expressed appreciation for Raiply’s support, emphasising that the enhanced sponsorship will cover key budgetary needs, contributing to the tournament’s success.

Malawi National Council of Sports senior sports and recreation development officer, Felix Yola called on volleyball players to take a leading role in conserving forest as a way of committing to supporting Raiply values.
