Activist Pastor Moses Shumba-the Lion of Judah, has informed Malawians of the alleged plans by the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) to kill all those suspected to be against the party and President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera ahead of the much anticipated 16th September, 2025 elections saying top of the list are activists.
Pastor Shumba said Archbishop Thomas Msusa, Sameer Suleman, Mtanyiwa, Bakili Muluzi TV, Dr. Patricia Kaliati, Jonathan Phiri, Edwards Kambanje, Bon Kalindo, Norman Chisale, Professor Arthur Peter Muthariika and himself, are earmarked for assassinations attempt by April, 2025.
The activist has alerted Malawians that if any activist is missing or dead through mysterious circumstances, is the work of the MCP assassins saying it is heartbreaking to learn that Malawi being a democratic country, some people are hunting for the lives of innocent people.
Speaking through an audio clip, Pastor Shumba, has reminded Malawians that he was arrested and the court advised him to be speaking nothing but the truth claiming that all the secret plans the MCP is making against innocent people in Malawi, God is revealing them.
Pastor Shumba has advised all MCP assassins that those digging pits will fall on them by themselves claiming that God is not happy with the leadership of President Chakwera and his MCP assuring the MCP that they can kill all activists in Malawi but they cannot silence Malawians from speaking out their mind.
He said the main agenda of killing all activists in Malawi is for the MCP to bounce back through silencing, intimidating and threatening people to keep quiet reminding it that in 1994 Malawians made a strong declaration that never again shall their country go back to one-party state and dictatorship.
The Pastor said even though activists are at risk, they will not stop siding with the suffering Malawians, they will stand with the country and the citizens, will not be afraid cl aiming that the assassins were created by God and God himself will fight for them.
“If God says NO nobody can say YES and if God says YES nobody can say NO, what special favors do these assassins have from God to kill activists in Malawi by April, 2025? Questioned Pastor Shumba.
He has dismissed claims made by former activist Redson Munlo that those thugs who went to the house of Archbishop Msusa at Limbe Cathedral armed with pangas, metal bars and other dangerous weapons are DPP members hiding in the name of MCP.
Pastor Shumba said history is the best teacher, on 18th May, 1983 the MCP tragically murdered Dick Matenje, Aaron Gadama, Twaibu Sangala and David Chiwanga and 10th June, 2024 the very same MCP is linked to the death of Dr. Saulosi Chilima and eight others, in the Chikangawa forest.
He said history has repeated itself that the MCP is known for killing innocent people and as such, not even one Malawian can stand up to point fingers at the DPP for being behind the plot to kill Archbishop Msusa in Blantyre.
The activist said interestingly, all the thugs who went to the house of Archbishop Msusa are free, they are enjoying the freedom the MCP gave them of terrorizing, intimidating, threatening, and killing innocent people saying God is watching them and will reward them for their terrorism acts.
