Silver Strikers, the reigning TNM Super League champions, have announced the departure of their Nigerian forward, Friday Oriafo Osagie, just six months into his two-year contract. Osagie joined the club in August last year from Bangwe All-Stars, but failed to make a significant impact, scoring only two goals in the TNM Super League.
Osagie’s goals came in a 2-0 victory against Mighty Tigers on August 24, but he was unable to replicate this form in subsequent matches.
