Mzuzu Parliamentary Aspirant Dangles K5 Million Towards Vendors Welfare Fund

Alfred Adam, the Alliance for Democracy (AFORD) aspiring parliamentary candidate for Mzuzu City South-East, has donated K5 million to the Mzuzu vendors welfare to help revive small-scale businesses affected by the struggling business environment.

Adam, popularly known as ‘Hisroshima’ in business circles, emphasized the need for transparency and accountability in fund administration to ensure it serves its intended purpose.

“Every coin counts hence need for the demands accountability among themselves before considering further assistance,” said Adam.

Joshua Chinguwo, General Secretary of the traders, praised Adam for his generosity, saying his support will go a long way in helping small-scale businesses overcome current difficulties.

“Hiroshima has demonstrated the spirit of a true partner, small scale businesses are facing difficulties, this financial support will go a long way in supporting us,” said Chinguwo
