Freedom fighter and activist Kamlepo Kalua, has assured the Malawi Electoral Commission (Mec) Chairperson Justice Annabel Mtalimanja that he is ready to die for free, fair, credible and transparent 16th September, 2025 elections in Malawi.
Kalua has asked Justice Mtalimanja that why is it that she is refusing independent auditors to audit the voters roll reminding her that in 2019 the former Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) allowed auditors to do the same and what is so special with this 2025 elections.
He said it is in the interest of all electoral stakeholders that they should reconcile, viewing and looking at the figures in the voters roll for them to be convinced that the 16th September, 2025 elections is free and fair from manipulation.
Speaking through an audio clip, Kalua said Justice Mtalimanja wants to bring chaos in the country by not allowing independent team of auditors to see what is so special with this Smartmatic machine for free and fair elections.
Kalua said he fought for freedom and multiparty democracy in Malawi assuring Justice Mtalimanja that he is ready to offer his blood as a sacrificial lamb the same done by Dr. Saulosi Chilima so that the blood be of them to be billionaires and multi-billionaires because of public money and public resources.
He said he refuse to be intimidated by any security organ in the country be the Malawi Defense Force (MDF) or Malawi Police Service (MPS) saying he fought for democracy and not the democracy the MCP is taking Malawians to destruction.
“I refuse to be intimidated by free speech, I fought for democracy against the dictatorship of the MCP under Kamuzu Banda,” said Kalua.
He has asked all electoral stakeholders to write one strong letter to all international financial institutions and notable governments across the world that should they help the MCP to win the 16th September, 2025 elections, they should not help this country after this election and Malawi should be an isolated country.
Kalua said the letter to be written should not go to those regional governments who are puppets of the MCP government because they want to see chaos in the country pleading with Justice Mtalimanja not to let the country go into blood shed because of her allegiance to the MCP.
He has sent a special message to the newly appointed Deputy Commissioner of Police Ackson Muwanga allegedly known for killing innocent people in Malawi to come and kill him to achieve his mission of being promoted to Inspector General of Police.
