In a bold statement that has captured international attention, Iran’s Supreme Leader has urged all Islamic nations to unite in what he describes as a necessary and forceful response to the United States and Israel. Speaking during a high-level religious gathering, the Supreme Leader labeled the two nations as a “disgrace” and accused them of consistently working against the interests of the Islamic world.
Calling for solidarity among Muslims globally, he said: “It is time for all Muslims to stand together, regardless of nationality or sect, and confront those who seek to divide and weaken us.”
He went on to describe the US and Israel as “enemies of the Islamic faith from above,” suggesting that their actions are not just political but also spiritual attacks on Islam.
The remarks come amid rising tensions in the Middle East, with ongoing conflicts involving Israel, and diplomatic strains between Iran and Western powers. Analysts believe the Supreme Leader’s comments are likely to heighten political and religious rhetoric across the region.
International observers have expressed concern over the potential impact of such statements, warning that they could further escalate conflicts and undermine efforts for peace and dialogue.
Meanwhile, Iranian state media has hailed the call as a “righteous appeal for justice and unity in the face of oppression.”
