Kabambe: Malawi’s God-given lifeline or a nation’s missed destiny?

By Allan Ngumuya

If Malawians are going to miss the lifeline, then we are all going to be fools in God’s eyes.

As the nation prepares for a critical election with 18 presidential candidates in the race, there is a pressing truth that cannot be ignored.

Among these 18 contenders, the remaining 17 all know deep within that they cannot match what Dr. Dalitso Kabambe is articulating in all his rallies.

They are fully aware that he is the only candidate who has demonstrated clarity of vision and substance that speaks to the very core of Malawi’s problems.

Dr. Dalitso Kabambe has not only campaigned widely, but he has physically traversed the entire nation—reaching all districts and engaging directly with communities and traditional leaders.

His campaign is not just about politics; it is about speaking the language of the people and addressing matters of the heart.

Dr. Kabambe stands uniquely qualified among all the candidates by virtue of his extensive experience of over 23 years in government service.

Throughout his career, he has served in various departments and ministries, earning a solid reputation for competence, diligence, and integrity.

He has consistently demonstrated to Malawians that he is capable of doing much better than the six presidents who came before him.

Dr. Kabambe’s public service record includes working under five different presidents—starting from Dr. Bakili Muluzi in 1994, followed by Professor Bingu wa Mutharika, Dr. Joyce Banda, Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, and most recently, under the current leadership.

Despite working under these various heads of state, Dr. Kabambe has maintained admirable decorum and maturity.

There has never been a single instance where he bad-mouthed any of the presidents, nor has any of them ever publicly criticized him.

This alone is a testament to his professionalism and his ability to learn, grow, and adapt without causing conflict or division.

It reflects the depth of his experience and the advanced understanding he has gained from serving under diverse administrations.

At this point in our nation’s history, we Malawians cannot pretend not to see what God is doing.

We should not ask God for more signs, because the answer has already been given to us in the form of Dr. Dalitso Kabambe.

It is now up to each citizen to recognize and accept what God is clearly showing us as a nation.

Unlike some individuals in leadership who have been heard making reckless remarks such as “ukafuna kukhala wa chuma umayenera kukhala ka krook,” Dr. Kabambe has never indulged in such unethical sentiments.

He has built a successful career and led a consistent personal lifestyle that is free from scandal or public embarrassment.

He has never been involved in any corrupt practices or moral failings that would discredit his candidacy.

Malawians, I beg of you—if we truly desire change in this country, if we want to build a strong and meaningful economy, and if we want a better future for our children, then we must not be fools.

We must choose Dr. Dalitso Kabambe as the next President of the Republic of Malawi.

If we fail to do so, we have no one to blame but ourselves.

The choice before us is clear: either we continue with the life of struggle, poverty, cruelty, nepotism, cronyism, tribalism, and suffering under the selfish leadership of President Lazarus Chakwera, or we embrace a new dawn of transformation with Kabambe.

The time has come for real leadership—leadership that is intelligent, visionary, and untainted by the failures of the past.

Malawians, especially the youth, the future of this nation belongs to you.

You must rise and claim it with your vote.

Support your fellow young, smart, and capable leader—Dr. Dalitso Kabambe.

To the Malawian youth: do not be counted among the fools who will cast their votes for the Malawi Congress Party.

Let those who are committed to outdated politics remain in their folly—but you must choose wisely.

The thieves in power have nothing to lose.

They only care about looting your taxes and manipulating your future.

You must stop them.

Do not join the chorus of fools.

Make the wise decision, or watch your country perish miserably.

Dr. Dalitso Kabambe is not just a candidate—he is Malawi’s lifeline.
