Veteran freedom fighter and activist Hon. Kamlepo Kalua, has questioned Mec Chairperson Justice Annabel Mtalimanja to clarify whether the law on handouts is only applied to opposition parties alone observing that the MCP and President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera are distributing handouts with impunity that they are above the law.
Kalua has alleged that the MCP has paid for all the 229 Members of Parliament (MPs) a total of K1.2 billion asking Mec to investigate where does this money came from and who is paying for them claiming that in 2019 the MCP had no money to pay for marketing and advertisements.
He has asked Mtalianja to prove to Malawians how ready she is to preside over the 16th September, 2025 elections with towers being planted fixed with equipment for Mec as part of MCP vote rigging scheme claiming that there 8 in the northern region, central region has 16 while southern region has 24.
Speaking through an audio clip, Kalua said Malawians know exactly where the equipment is being planted in towers and can go to destroy them for free and fair elections advising Justice Mtalimanja and Mpesi that God’s thoughts are not their thoughts.
Kalua has questioned President Chakwera that if he is indeed an ordained Priest saying it is very shocking to be learning that he is involved in vote rigging scheme for him to bounce back into government on the 16th September, 2025 elections.
He said he is feeling sorry to Justice Mtalimanja and Andrew Mpesi that their involvement in MCPs vote rigging scheme will put them, their families and relatives into trouble warning them that Malawians are demanding free and fair elections from them.
The freedom fighter has asked the two to investigate by themselves Mec vote rigging equipment hiding offices at Area 3 and 9 in Lilongwe for the truth to prevail in their hearts advising them to trust fully in God that this is the war with God and they will not win this war.
“I am appealing to you, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge, the opposite is destructive, your plans to tamper with the towers, God is watching and you will not win,” said Kalua.
He has appealed to Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika to keep patience that he will see how God will punish those planning to rig the elections but with the victory on his side, he should not carry a revenge against those that are wishing him an early grave.
Kalua has also appealed to Professor Mutharika to sit down with madam Dr. Joyce Banda for her good retirement package so that she plays a bigger role in representing Malawi to the African Union saying this will teach the MCP a good lesson of working in a multi-party government.
He has warned Malawians never and ever vote for presidential candidates outside the alliance claiming that these are MCP plant to change the country’s Constitution for Malawi to go back to one-party state and dictatorship.
The Freedom fighter has assured Malawians that the country has a better future urging Malawians “No vote to those standing alone from the opposition parties assuring all that if MCP rule again from 2025 justice for all the cases Malawians have in their hearts, will not be seen.
