Malawian musician Praise Umali has received K6 million in financial support from Ace Holdings Limited as he gears up for his highly anticipated music concert, The August Experience, scheduled for August 16, 2025, at the Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe.
The Zathu band alumnus will share the stage with renowned South African songstress Amanda Black, promising a night of rich musical fusion and vibrant performances.
Speaking about the sponsorship, Umali expressed his excitement over the continued corporate backing for the arts in Malawi.
“It is inspiring to see companies still investing in creative talent and helping to grow our music industry,” he said.
This latest support follows a K12 million contribution from Ekhaya just days ago, bringing a significant boost to the event’s preparations.
Organisers say The August Experience will blend soulful live music, cultural expression, and high-quality stage production, aiming to set a new standard for local concerts.
