Political activist Bon Kalindo, has praised opposition parties DPP, UTM, AFORD, PP, PPM for joining forces walking together in a quest to liberate the country from the hands of the MCP rule which has brought the country back to one-party state.
Kalindo has described as good news hearing the DPP and UTM working together to monitor elections process to ensure that they are free, fair, credible, and transparent for the losers to accept defeat honorably.
He has claimed that within the opposition parties, there are individuals who are pocketing money from the MCP to make sure that opposition must not form a grand opposition alliance to oust President Chakwera and the MCP from power on the 16th September, 2025 elections.
Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo has thanked the Lord for preparing the way for the opposition leaders to come back to their senses to forget about their personal interests and put Malawi first in everything.
Kalindo has appealed to other opposition leaders not joining the opposition block such as Dr. Michael Usi, Dr. Kondwani Nankhumwa, and Frank Tumpale Mwenefumbo, among others, not to be left behind but joining forces to liberate the country, there personal interests, second.
He has advised all opposition leaders that they have one common enemy President Chakwera who has no welfare of people at heart observing that the 5 years of his leadership, Malawians have sailed through untold sufferings making many regretting to have voted for a wrong person on the 23rd June, 2020 elections.
“Malawians have no good news to write for President Chakwera and his MCP, everywhere in the country, people are in pain and suffering,” said Kalindo.
He has questioned President Chakwera that what is it he wants to bounce back into government on the 16th September, 2025 elections for Malawians to vote for him after destroying the country and he wants to continue destroying it to 2030?
On Dr. Michael Usi, Kalindo has advised him to set his journey forward ever and backward never warning him that if he goes back to the MCP camp after exposing the rot and debt, he will be turned into a pillar of salt as the story of Lot in the Holy Bible.
Kalindo has further advised Usi that the MCP will be doing everything possible to bring him close to President Chakwera on the claims that their relationship has been cordial, assuring him that MCP is MCP of crocodiles, they will swallow him just the same as they did to Dr. Saulosi Chilima.
He has appealed to Dr. Usi to leave the Vice President position and concentrate on his future politics with the DPP and UTM saying this is the good time to leave and not remaining in the same government where the MCP has told him to resign.
“Do not trust anyone, not all that are surrounding you are good people, some are rotten apples, eat only food that is prepared by your wife,” said Kalindo.
He has finally appealed to Dr. Usi that from today to the 16th September, 2025 elections, he should refrain from attending any government meeting because the devil is all waiting for him to teach him a lesson of working with crocodiles.
