Political activist Bon Kalindo has accused Jeremiah Mwaungulu of wanting to expose Vice President Dr. Michael Usi’s corruption activities that happened 10 years ago at the ADRA where Usi was working as its Manager.
Kalindo has suspected Mwaungulu to have pocketed money from an MBC MCP Campaign Director to go in person to the MBC to threaten Dr. Michael Usi that if he continues exposing corruption activities of some individual members of the MCP in government, he will also expose his rot in government.
He has challenged Mwaungulu that he has already informed Malawians that he will reveal the secret involving corruption activities of Dr. Usi at the ADRA he should go ahead for Malawians to trust him other than only threatening Dr. Usi to close his mouth.
Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo has encouraged Dr. Usi to continue speaking nothing but the truth that the MCP government led by President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera is rotten with rampant corruption advising him not to look behind but forward ever.
Kalindo said if there is one who has been a close associate of Dr. Usi is himself not Mwaungulu claiming that drama stage acting made Mwaungulu to come to know Dr. Usi and without drama, he would not have a chance of knowing Dr. Usi.
He has also accused Mwaungulu of not wishing the country well observing that while the world is standing with Dr. Usi in his corruption fight, Mwaungulu has sided with a political party in government which has destroyed the country more than any other previous government.
“Mwaungulu’s conduct has proved to be useless, he has received money from the MCP to counter-attack Dr. Usi for a good job he is doing to Malawians,’ said Kalindo.
On renaming and naming some of the country’s historical infrastructures, Kalindo has accused President Chakwera of deleting the history of the country saying a country that deletes its history for the sake of politics, is a dead nation.
Kalindo said if President Chakwera wants to be praised by 22 million plus citizens in Malawi, he should direct reduction of prices of essential commodities, maize and fertilizers for the poor people and the entire Malawians to afford buying, Malawians will clap their hands for this.
He said it is too late for President Chakwera to be loved by Malawians with only days to go before the 16th September, 2025 elections assuring him that Malawians are all prepared to vote him and the MCP out of government on 16th September, 2025 elections.
The activist has thanked well-wishers who donated various items towards people of Kasasire in northern Nkhatabay saying these people are living like refugees and asylum seekers in their own country after Malawi Defense Force (MDF) soldiers evicted them from their land.
Kalindo has appealed for more support to these people on the claims that they are Malawians but the MCP led government of President Chakwera is treating them as foreigners even though the High Court in Mzuzu ordered government to give them compensations and a return to their customary land.
