Freedom fighter and activist Kamlepo Kalua, has pleaded with President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera to leave State House reminding him that Malawians in all the districts across the country have spoken, rejecting him to be their President.

Kalua said it has been established that MCP is planning to force Mec Chairperson Justice Annabel Mtalimanja to declare that President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has won the elections without figures to prove of his victory.

He has appealed to court Judges not to disappoint Malawians claiming that he know who and who have pocketed money for Justice Mtalimanja to declare that President Chakwera has won the 16thSeptember, 2025 elections.

Speaking through an audio clip, Kalua has advised MCP not to mislead Justice Mtalimanja saying Malawians saw it clearly that Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has won the elections with over 50 plus one percent.

Kalua said Malawians don’t want bloodshed in their country because of the differences in politics saying they are praying for a peaceful handover of power from Dr. Lazarus Chakwera to Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika.

He has advised Dr. Jessie Kabwila not to destroy her name through mobilizing the youth to go to the streets in Lilongwe celebrating that President Chakwera has won the elections assuring her that if she continues with what she is doing, she will not reach October, 2025 claiming that people out there are angry.

The activist has sent a special appeal to Chakwera’s wife, Anya Gondwe to talk to her husband – President Chakwera to leave State House for his house at Area 6 in Lilongwe reminding him that Dr. Bakili Muluzi left State House 2 months before the elections.

He said in June, 2020 Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika left Kamuzu Palace in Lilongwe to occupy his uncompleted Page House in Mangochi wondering why President Chakwera is refusing to leave State House when he knows pretty well that Malawians have rejected him.

“President Chakwera leave the house for Professor Mutharika to start working on the country’s ailing economy,” said Kalua.

He has warned President Chakwera that the Army and Police he is trusting that it will defend him, will leave him alone, saying it is very surprising to note that the court rejected audit of the voters’ roll but the MCP is pushing for the same audit.
