Bakili Muluzi TV online television station has announced to the general public that he has stopped preaching politics and his focus now will be on history for Malawians not to forget various abuses they have suffered in the 5 years of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and his Malawi Congress Party (MCP).
Bakili Muluzi TV has urged Members of Parliament (MPs) that the first thing they will do when Parliament convene, they should table a bill to make sure that MCP is deregistered as an opposition political party in Malawi.
He said the late Ngwazi Dr. Hastings Kamuzu Banda beside committing a number of atrocities in the country, he was remembered for his good works unlike President Chakwera who distributed 2000 NEEF bags of fertilizer to politicians for mega farms existing on paper forgetting ordinary villagers.
The activist aid the MCP after being in opposition for 26 years, Malawians gave them a chance of ruling the country but has failed in the first 5 years thinking that the party’s panga wielding thugs will be loved by the citizens, today, they are out of government.
He said for 5 years of President Chakwera, MCPs Director of Youth Steven Baba Malondera has been supporting panga wielding thugs, today he has become a Civil Society Organization (CSO) and Richard Chimwendo Banda who was being surrounded and moving with soldiers, today, no soldier is guarding him.
Bakili Muluzi TV said President Chakwera who was being surrounded and guarded by a barracks of soldiers, today, he is an ordinary person like Bakili Muluzi TV and the 100 soldiers he had are not with him, they have been given other duties.
He said stopping preaching politics does not mean that he has stopped telling Malawians history that there was an ordained Priest of the Malawi Assemblies of God who killed Mohammad Sidik Mia, Dr. Saulosi Chilima, and supporting MCP panga wielding thugs.
He said there was Dr. Lazarus Chakwera who instructed panga wielding thugs to beat and hack activist Sylvester Namiwa leaving him half-dead, and all this was being done in the full view of police and Army officers.
“I am not in opposition political parties, I fought for this new government and I am in government, let’s give the new government one year to deliver on its promises,” said Bakili Muluzi TV.
He has dismissed claims which are being made by MCP politicians that President Professor Mutharika has failed to run Malawi advising Malawians that the budget the country is using today, was prepared by the MCP not Professor Mutharika.
