Seasoned journalists who graduated from MCP Media Team to MCP Chief Propagandist writer in various social media platforms Dickson Kashoti (Ndiope ndani?) has announced his time to hang political boots that it is now time to move on.
Kashoti who has worked in reputable newspaper companies such as Daily Times and Chronical as Chief Editor joined the political battlefield as a Media Team of the MCP and President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera writing news articles praising “Boma ndilomweli silikuchoka.”
He was behind those advocating for the MCP to rule the country to 2084 basing on the facts that MCP has been in the opposition benches for 31 years and there coming into government mean nothing but to rule and become a party for life the same as Ngwazi Dr. Hastings Kamuzu Banda.
Writing on his face book page, Kashoti says there is time for everything; time to write, analyze and give opinions on politics and time to hang political boots as said in the Biblical preacher, saying his page will take a new tone as his New Year resolution.
Kashoti said his page will no longer carry political news, views and analysis in favor of any political party or against any political party saying his page will completely avoid political issues altogether, thanking everyone he has interacted with on his page, both for or against his political opinions which were harsh and brutal sometimes.
“It is now time to move on, we will meet in the other world beyond politics, thank you for your understanding,” reads Kashoti’s writings on the wall.
A concerned citizen of Malawi Mrs. Elizabeth Kaliza Banda, has praised Kashoti for changing his heart writing propaganda news against the new government of the DPP saying mindset change has come on to his mind.
Kaliza said the MCP has started opposing government describing it as too early, they have full five years to oppose government advising them to start rebuilding their party which is at the verge of disbandment and thereafter, be opposing government.
She said the walking out of Chief MCP Propagandist Dickson Kashoti from MCP is speaking for itself that all is not well with the MCP, the MCP has no future in Malawi politics saying millions of Malawians are praying very hard for the party to be buried alive with no resurrection.
The citizen has finally thanked Kashoti for his mindset change calling others in the MCP Media Team to follow Kashoti assuring them that it will take 271 years for the MCP to win trust of the people and bounce back into government.
