Limpopo FM calls DPP to speed up all corruption cases in court

By Vincent Gunde

Limpopo FM online radio station has called on the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) led government to speed up corruption cases that are currently in court and those that are coming for justice to be seen with individuals to be acquitted or imprisoned.

Limpopo FMs Comrade Ntanyiwa has expressed fears that if the cases are taking time to be heard, the concerned suspects cannot do any development in their lives as they will not know what is coming ahead of them tomorrow hence the call to speed up corruption cases in court.

He has warned government that great care should be taken to the case of the former Vice President Dr. Saulosi Klaus Chilima saying millions of Malawians voted for Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika to be in government for justice to be seen answering questions on who killed Dr. Chilima and why?

Speaking through a special programme to Malawians, Comrade Ntanyiwa said the fall of the DPP led government will be measured on the way they have handled Chilima’s case for justice to be seen to the bereaved families, friends and the entire nation.

Comrade Ntanyiwa, however, has expressed his grave concern over reports from some politicians who have connived with court judges to stall Chilima’s justice through injunctions after injunctions saying this will frustrate millions of Malawians that are praying for justice to seen in Chilima’s case.

He has appealed to these politicians and court judges to love their country by allowing the case to go as planned for justice to be seen that if there are people behind the killing of Dr. Chilima and eight others, they should enter prison corridors and if it was not a human error, the matter should be closed in the interest of all Malawians.

“It is heartbreaking that some other people have already strategized that when the Chilima’s case has started, they should be going to court for injunctions against injunctions to stop the case from being heard in court,” said Comrade Ntanyiwa.

He has appealed to the DPP to listen to the cries of the citizens reminding them that Malawians overwhelmingly voted out the MCP government because President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera took people for granted, he was satisfied with the words “Boma ndilomweli silikuchoka.”

The activist has also appealed to all those that love the United Democratic Front (UDF) that if they are praying that one day, the party bounces back into government, they should find new leadership in the party but clinging in to the family leadership as it is today, the party should forget about entering into government for life.

Comrade Ntanyiwa has also advised the MCP that people are fed up with President Chakwera and others, do not want to hear his name in the Malawi political history saying it is so disheartening to learn that some people in the MCP are planning to change the party’s constitution to allow Dr. Lazarus Chakwera stand as MCP candidate in the 2030 elections.

He has challenged the MCP that uif Chakwera got one million votes in the September, 2025 elections, in 2030 he will get 200,000 votes assuring the party that no Malawian is ready to vote for Chakwera anymore in the country, he is the worst President the country has ever produced since 1994 when multiparty politics and democracy was introduced in Malawi.
