Limpopo FM online radio station, has accused Mr. Billy Frederick Malata of saying no need for the DPP led government to spend money to investigate circumstances surrounding the tragic death of the former Vice President Dr. Saulosi Chilima and eight others, on the 24th June, 2024 in the Chikangawa forest.
The radios Comrade Ntanyiwa said it sad that while millions of Malawians are praying for justice to be seen in Dr. Chilima’s death, one Billy Malata out of millions of Malawians, has the contrary view that Chilima’s death be treated as ” Lest we forget”
Comrade Ntanyiwa has asked Malata what would have happened if one who was killed in that plane crash was his father, mother or relative, would he had time to tell Malawians to lest they forget the investigations? advising him to speak by not forgetting that there’s always tomorrow.
The activist has alleged that Billy Malata has made the statement out of pocketing K7 million from MCP Secretary General Richard Chimwendo Banda to stop the fresh commission of inquiry.
He has challenged Malata and all those that are doing everything possible to stop Chilima’s death inquest that they will not succeed in their mission fighting against millions of people that are praying for justice to be seen.
Comrade Ntanyiwa said Malawians don’t want such political murder to happen again in the country after the 18th May, 1983 memories that four cabinet ministers; Dick Matenje, Aaron Gadama, Twaibu Sangala and David Chiwanga were tragically murdered by the MCP of Kamuzu Banda and there bodies were dumped at Thambani in Mwanza district.
” Under the same MCP regime, two similar political killings had happened, some other people are working to block the fresh inquest,” he said.
The activist has challenged Malata that the fresh investigation on Dr. Chilima’s death will go ahead whether one likes it or not, assuring him that when government has no money, Malawians themselves will dig deep into their pockets to fund the process until justice is finally seen on the matter.
Comrade Ntanyiwa has finally advised Madam Mary Nkhamanyachi Chilima and all Malawians to forgive Billy Malata for he don’t know that millions of Malawians are anxiously waiting for the truth to prevail on whether the crashed plane had mechanical error or human error and the next course of action.
