A 21-year-old woman tragically plunged more than 130 feet to her death during a bungee jumping event in Brazil after staff allegedly failed to attach her safety rope before pushing her off a bridge.

Videos captured from different angles show the young woman being calmly escorted by two staff members to the edge of the bridge before she was thrown into the ravine below. In the footage, bystanders can be heard shouting frantically, “The rope, people, the rope!” as the devastating error became apparent.
Adding to the tragedy, Maria Eduarda had shared photos on social media shortly before the jump. One image showed her wristbands and the bridge where the activity was taking place.
In a heartbreaking post, she wrote: “Who was the crazy person who let me come jump off a bridge?”
