Social commentator Gerald Chavez Kampanikiza of Dedza has called on the authorities in Malawi to speed up the process of exhuming from the grave the body of Abdul Lapukeni Kapheni.

She said she had questions that at the scene where the plane crashed in the Chikangawa forest, who identified the body of her late husband and placed in the right coffin that this was Kapheni to be buried at his home village?
The widow said for the fact that she was denied viewing of the body of her husband and the autopsy results, she made up her mind that someone if not something was placed in the coffin to pose as the body of her husband Abdul Lapukeni Kapheni.
Speaking during the recent Nkhanga zaona programme on Limpopo FM online radio station, Comrade Ntanyiwa called for the grave of Abdul Lapukeni Kapheni to be guarded until exhumation is conducted and DNA test is done claiming that he is in Rwanda.
Comrade Ntanyiwa said after the plane crash in the Chikangawa forest, Kapheni called his son to tell his mother that he is not dead and he is safe advising the Commission of Inquiry to call Kapheni’s son to testify before the inquiry on where his father is.Key questions answered in Chilima plane crash inquiry
He said the family has been speaking with Kapheni in Rwanda saying he did not board the plane which was crashed, he wanted to meet Dr. Saulosi Chilima at the Mzuzu Airport.
The Activist called on Malawians to relate the information Kapheni’s wife told the committee that Abdul Lapukeni Kapheni knew what was going on but she did not tell her wife of all the plans that Dr. Saulosi Chilima would be killed and him will be in another country.
Comrade Ntanyiwa said when bidding bye to his wife on the journey to South Korea, Kapheni expressed doubts that he will come back home alive and when he was going to Mzuzu, he requested for his passport to travel with it to the dismay of his wife.
He said Kapheni’s bidding bye to this earthly world started a long time ago saying his wife told the inquiry that at one time he phoned his wife from South Africa after visiting the late Lucius Banda that chances of survival are minus zero and he would be the next to go.
Comrade Ntanyiwa appealed to the inquiry Chairperson Walter Nyamilandu Manda to walk with him that not all the remaining 170 witnesses will give their testimonies but four to five people only claiming that Abdul Lapukeni Kapheni is alive and is in Rwanda.
