BLANTYRE – Mighty Wanderers Football Club have received a significant boost in their pursuit of silverware after club president Thom Mpinganjira donated sports equipment worth approximately 1 million South African Rand (about K104.3 million) to strengthen all football teams under the Nomads’ banner.Mpinganjira pledges players 1.5 million each

The comprehensive package will benefit the club’s Main Team, Reserve Team, Youth Team and Women’s Team, reinforcing the club’s commitment to developing talent at every level.

The donation includes two sets of tracksuits and training kits for each team, more than 50 footballs, football boots, rubber cones, man markers, gym mats, resistance bands and shin pads—essential equipment aimed at improving training standards and player performance throughout the season.Mpinganjira’s Football Legacy In Malawi

Club Board Chair David Kanyenda praised Mpinganjira’s unwavering commitment to the club, describing the donation as a major morale booster that will enhance preparations across all teams.
