Mia Encourages Muslims To Love One Another

Minister of Water and Sanitation Abida Mia has encouraged muslims to love one another and embrace the spirit of sharing as they are in the last 10 days of Ramadan.

Speaking at Buleya mosque in Balaka district, Mia said she would continue all charity work that her late husband Sidik Mia was doing.

“During this month of Ramadan, I visited and shared the sadaqah to almost all the mosques that my late husband built,” she said.

She also commended Faizan Global Relief Foundation for supporting her in distributing various items including maize flour to muslims across the country.

Among others, Mia donated bags of rice and cash for this coming Eid al-fitr celebration and over 1000 families have received maize flour & tablets of soap.
