Police have arrested UTM Party Secretary General Patricia Kaliati on suspicion of planning to commit a crime.

National Police spokesperson, Peter Kalaya, confirmed the arrest, stating that Kaliati was taken into custody today. She is currently being held at an undisclosed police station in Lilongwe.
