President Prof. Arthur Peter Mutharika Concludes Mangochi South West Tour at Thumu Trading Centre

On Monday, 9 December, His Excellency Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, former President of Malawi, made his final stop at Thumu Trading Centre during his whistle-stop tour of Mangochi South West Constituency. The visit drew large crowds of supporters eager to hear from the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) leader, who delivered a message of hope and commitment to development.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. Mutharika emphasized the DPP’s readiness to address Malawi’s economic challenges and restore progress. He highlighted the importance of unity and the role of Mangochi South West Constituency in the party’s vision for national transformation.

“Thumu Trading Centre represents the hardworking spirit of our people. Together, we can rebuild our economy and create opportunities for all Malawians. The DPP remains committed to serving the nation with integrity and determination,” Mutharika said.

“Your vote is your power. Let us ensure that we register in large numbers and prepare for a DPP victory that will bring meaningful development to this constituency and the entire nation,” he added.
