The Shepherd Bushiri Foundation(SBF) has taken serious strides towards exposing the country’s film industry to the world through an agreement which they have signed with Nollywood Legend Nkem Owoh , popularly known as Ukwa.
This was disclosed during a meeting the two parties had in Lilongwe today on 26th February 2024.
Among others the agreement between vthe two sides will see Malawian actors and actresses teaming up with their Nigerian counterparts in making films and sharing expertise when it comes to film production.
In his remarks President of SBF Prophet Shepherd Bushiri stated that he has always believed in the potential the Country’s film industry has and that this will help in giving it the much needed exposure to the outside world.
On the other hand Nkem Owoh disclosed that the first project under the agreement will be shot in April this year and hailed Bushiri for continuing to bolster the country’s art heritage.
The agreement is expected to bolster the country’s film industry but also expose it to the world at large .
