Leader of opposition in Parliament Right Honourable Dr Kondwani Nankhumwa, MP, visited the home of the late Odetta Nambado Kazembe at Tande Village in Traditional Authority (T/A) Mpama in Chiradzulu district.

The late Odetta Kazembe died in South Africa on Friday. She was a staunch and dyed-in-the-wool Democratic Progressive Party DPP member.

After being briefed on the steps being taken, the Right Honourable Nankhumwa promised to assist in expediting the process.

The body of Odetta Kazembe is expected in Malawi next week.

In one of the photos, the Right Honourable Nankhumwa is seen Mr. Geoffrey Kazembe who is the father to the deceased. Mr. Kazembe was once a famous MBC radio personality.

Right Honourable Dr Nankhumwa conveyed his deepest condolences to the deceased family and the DPP membership following the unfortunate passing of Odetta at a very young age.
