Joshua Chisa Chisambele Arrested For Inciting Violence

Police in Lilongwe have arrested two organisers of todays demos, Joshua Chisa Mbele and Levi Luwembe, and 31 other protesters who are facing charges of inciting violence.

National Police spokesperson Peter Kalaya has confirmed to Nation Online a short while ago that the suspects are currently being held at Area 3 Police Station.

Kalaya however, refused to divulge more information saying a statement will be issued later on today.
