The body of late Chikumbutso Mtumodzi, who was the Principal Secretary in the Department of Procurement has been laid to rest in his home village, Chankhungu in Dowa District.
The burial ceremony was attended by the Vice President, Michael Usi, Secretary to the Office of the President and Cabinet Colleen Zamba, Minister of Local Government, Unity and Culture, Richard Chimwendo among other dignitaries .
Mtumodzi, 52, who also served as Director of Information, died on Monday.
