BLANTYRE — Renowned Malawian entrepreneur and Prophet Shepherd Bushiri has challenged Malawians to change their mindset about poverty and embrace practical strategies that can help them create wealth and achieve financial independence.

According to Bushiri, poverty should not only be viewed in terms of a lack of money or material resources, but can also be linked to a person’s mindset, lifestyle and attitude.

He said poverty can be a spirit, lifestyle, attitude, mindset, or a combination of these factors, arguing that identifying the root cause is important before finding an appropriate solution.

Bushiri encouraged Malawians to move beyond depending solely on employment and instead explore entrepreneurship, financial literacy, disciplined saving and investment as pathways to building sustainable wealth.

He stressed the importance of developing a mindset that encourages people to identify opportunities, make informed financial decisions and take deliberate steps towards improving their economic circumstances.Shepherd Bushiri Mobilizes 10 Buses to Repatriate Malawians

Meanwhile, Sycamore Consult Managing Director Audrey Mwala said the Wealth Creation Conference was organised to equip Malawians with practical knowledge and skills that can help them create wealth and improve their livelihoods.

Mwala said the conference provides a platform for participants to learn from experienced professionals and gain insights that can be applied in their personal finances, businesses and investments.

The conference has placed wealth creation, entrepreneurship and financial empowerment at the centre of discussions, encouraging Malawians to take greater responsibility for their financial futures.Bushiri Donates K15 Million to Boost Southern Region Press Club Cooperative
