Items meant to assist cyclone Freddy survivors was early this morning stolen at Kapeni Primary School from the room it was being kept
Survivors believe it was a plan orchestrated by officials at the camp
When survivors woke up around 3 AM upon hearing strange noises, they saw people carrying several items such as rice, flour and blankets running into a nearby maize field
Police have since arrested two officials from the camp for questioning
One of those that has been sending relief items at the camp claims that she is not surprised with the theft, because officials at the camp have been holding the items instead handing them over to the people
