Politician-cum-comedian Bon Kalindo and Alfonso Jamali Chairperson for Green Park Village have been summoned for questioning at Lilongwe Police Station.
Jamali has confirmed the development to MIJ Online.
This follows land disputes between a group led by Jamali and Mohamed Abdul Manani who is also claiming ownership of the land at Chitipi in Lilongwe.
Some sources said that the summoning has to do with death threats on Manani made by Kalindo and the others claiming ownership of the land.
During the rally that took place at Green park on Sunday, Kalindo threatened to kill Manani and have his body sent to Bangladesh for burial, if he keep on refusing to surrender the land to the locals.
Kalindo, Alfonso and others are expected to be at Lilongwe Police Station for questioning at 10am.
Alfonso has told us that there will be a team to escort them to the Station from 9am.
