27-year old Mkwate Chimbizi is behind bars at Chikwawa Police for allegedly killing his wife after cutting off her breasts. He also removed her private parts before beheading her.
It is further reported that the suspect threw the private parts and breasts in a pit latrine.
South East Police Region spokesperson Edward Kabango has confirmed the heart-rending incident; adding Chimbizi suspected that her wife, Luwiza Leonard 23, had an extramarital affair.
On Thursday, the suspect led officers to where he buried the victim’s head but found it in a decomped state. Kabango says they are currently searching for the victim’s body.
