Inside sources indicate that the United Transformation Movement (UTM) is considering four prominent candidates for its presidential nomination. These potential hopefuls are distinguished by their impressive academic backgrounds and expertise.
1. Dr. Khwima Nthara, from Mzimba District, holds a PhD in Economics. His extensive research and expertise in economic policy could offer a strong foundation for the party’s economic agenda.
2. Dr. Mathews Mtumbuka, hailing from Rumphi District, has earned a PhD in Engineering. His background in engineering could provide a unique perspective on infrastructure and technological development.
3. Dr. Dalitso Kabambe, representing Thyolo/Ntcheu District, also possesses a PhD in Economics. His experience in economic strategies may contribute significantly to UTM’s policy formulation.
4. Dr. Michael Usi, from Mulanje District, holds a PhD in Development Studies. His focus on development issues may enhance UTM’s approach to socio-economic challenges.
All four candidates obtained their PhDs from top international universities, bringing a wealth of knowledge and global perspectives to the table. The UTM is expected to make a final decision on its presidential candidate in the coming months
