*Masintha* – Chrissy Kanyasho, a member of Parliament from the United Transformation Movement (UTM), has officially announced that the Tonse Alliance is now defunct. In a recent statement, Kanyasho revealed that the UTM has shifted its stance and is now functioning as an opposition party in Parliament.
The Tonse Alliance, which once united multiple parties under a common agenda of reform and development, appears to have disbanded amid internal disagreements and political shifts. Kanyasho’s announcement marks a significant turning point, with the UTM now distancing itself from the coalition’s former partners.
