The President of the People’s Development Party (PDP), Kondwani Nankhumwa, is set to preside over the launch of the construction of Mikoko Bridge in Mulanje Central Constituency tomorrow. The bridge, a crucial infrastructure project, is expected to enhance connectivity and facilitate smooth transport within the constituency.
Following the bridge launch, Nankhumwa will address the local community at Mikoko Primary School grounds at 1 PM. His speech is anticipated to touch on the development initiatives of the PDP, local infrastructure improvement, and other issues affecting the people of Mulanje Central.
The Mikoko Bridge construction is part of ongoing efforts to improve rural infrastructure and support socio-economic development in the region. This project aims to provide better access for residents, particularly during the rainy season when roads often become impassable.
Nankhumwa’s involvement in such community-based projects underscores the PDP’s commitment to local development, and his address will likely highlight the party’s plans for further investments in the area. The event is expected to draw a significant crowd from the surrounding communities
