Unknown assailants blocked the convoy of AFORD President Enock Chihana using a truck after a political rally at Chalowa School in Kasungu.
Chihana says he and his team are safe, but questions swirl around the motive.
Kasungu Police say they are unaware of the incident and have launched an investigation.
