Enoch Kanzingeni Chihana, President of the Alliance For Democracy (AFORD), exemplifies effective leadership, showcasing essential qualities to guide the nation toward progress and prosperity.

Providing his words of wisdom, early Wednesday morning Chihana, provided what a good leader should possess.

First and foremost he noted ‘Wisdom’ as demonstrating informed decision-making while considering long-term effects on the nation and its citizens, describes himself as visionary, prioritizing the nation’s well-being.

He also articulated on ‘Understanding’ recognizing right from wrong, committing to ethical action and fairness, ensuring equality for all without favoritism or bias embracing Humility as being teachable creating openness to correction, fostering strong relationships with team and supporters.

Chihana’s message did not omit to importance of self-control bordering on exercising self-discipline, prioritizing the greater good.

*Additionally, Chihana highlighted on effective Communication, clearly articulating his vision and strategy to inspire and motivate his team with honesty and Integrity, demonstrating strong ethics and moral principles, earning trust from constituents.

Without providing vivid examples his narration touched on the decision-Making exemplifying the capabilities of making informed and timely decisions benefiting the nation inspiring and Motivating others to work toward a common goal.

He also pointed out that delegation is paramount, empowering others to contribute effectively and efficiently to the vision.

As the son of AFORD’s founder, Chakufwa Chihana, Enoch has risen to prominence in Malawian politics, serving as Minister of Sports and Member of Parliament for Rumphi Central. His commitment to wisdom, justice, and humility solidifies his reputation as a strong, effective leader.
