MultiChoice Malawi expands reach with New Mega Dealer Branches

By Burnett Munthali

MultiChoice Malawi is taking significant strides to enhance accessibility to its DStv and GOtv services by opening Mega dealer branches across the country. This expansion aims to ensure that customers can easily access their favorite entertainment options, particularly in underserved regions.

Following a successful launch in Lilongwe, the latest branch has opened in Mzuzu in collaboration with Orbit Communications. This new shop is set to serve not only Mzuzu but also Rumphi and the surrounding areas, providing essential accessories at the same competitive prices found at MultiChoice offices.

The Mzuzu branch represents a pivotal development as it is the first Mega dealer branch in the northern region. With plans to open additional branches in other districts, Orbit Communications is committed to extending MultiChoice’s reach and providing more Malawians with access to quality entertainment.

As a MultiChoice Malawi Mega dealer, the Mzuzu shop will also restock and distribute MultiChoice accessories, empowering local entrepreneurs and creating job opportunities within the community. This initiative aligns with the broader vision of fostering local entrepreneurship and economic growth.

During the grand opening ceremony, Mzuzu Deputy Mayor Monica Simwaka emphasized the positive impact this development will have on the local economy, particularly in creating jobs for the youth. She noted that this initiative resonates with MultiChoice Malawi’s theme of “Malawi Ndi Kwathu,” which underscores growth, optimism, and the pursuit of a prosperous future for the country.

As MultiChoice Malawi continues to expand its footprint, the commitment to empowering local communities and enhancing access to entertainment services remains at the forefront of its mission. This initiative not only strengthens the brand’s presence in the northern region but also contributes to the overall socio-economic development of Malawi.
