Zikhale Encourages Constituents To Take Voter Registration Seriously

Homeland Security Minister who is also Member of Parliament for Nkhatabay South Constituency Kenneth Zikhale Ng’oma has advised his constituents to register in large numbers when voter registration begins.
Zikhale emphasized that only those registered will be able to vote in next years tripartite election.
Speaking when he presided over his K6 million constituency football and netball finals at Tukombo Ground, the Homeland Security Minister said it is the Constitutional right of every citizen to take part in the democratization of the country.
“Do not hesitate when the voter registration begins, it is only through the registration process that one becomes eligible to take an active role in the democratization of the country” said Zikhale.

On sports, the Minister encouraged talented athletes to maximize their potential considering that not everyone can secure a white collar job.
“Through talent one can become a successful person, look at Temwa and Tabitha Chawinga who are making news headline almost daily, work hard and take care of yourselves as athletes,” he added.
The parliamentarian has committed to launch another constituency football and netball trophies in the soonest time and the cash prizes are likely to be increased.
In attendance during the presentation ceremony of trophies and cash prizes were all the Traditional Authority chiefs from the constituency; Chief Fukamapili,Malengamzoma and Zilakoma
