This morning, United Transformation Movement (UTM) supporters gathered in large numbers in Lilongwe to accompany Newton Kambala as he submitted his candidacy for the party’s top leadership position. The enthusiastic crowd, dressed in UTM colors, marched from Area 18 Freedom Park, heading towards the party’s headquarters in Area 10.
The UTM is scheduled to hold its much-anticipated convention later this month, where delegates from across the country will elect new leaders.
