Malawians stand a chance of owning shares in Malawi Stock Exchange-listed Blantyre Hotels Limited following its K62.4 billion rights issue.
The firm has issued the rights as part of its campaign to raise funds for the completion of its five star hotel in Lilongwe.
According to the firm’s prospectus, at least 5 billion rights shares are available through a renounceable fully underwritten rights offer.

If all the share rights are subscribed to, the hospitality company will be able to earn the anticipated amount for the infrastructure development.
